How do we connect for appointments?

Dr. Paquette practices strictly over Telemedicine and no longer has a physical office in La Jolla Village. The Initial consultation is conducted over HIPPA compliant video and the follow-up consultations are conducted by phone or video, your choice.

Can you see patients anywhere in the USA?

No, Dr. Paquette is only licensed to see patients that live in California.

Do you accept insurance?

No, La Jolla Naturopathic is strictly a cash practice. We can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We can also provide a year end statement of your account to submit with your taxes.

Can I use my health insurance for laboratory testing?

Yes, Dr. Paquette has access to a plethora of both standard and specialty laboratory testing. Some labs directly bill your insurance for the testing and others do not, instead, they provide you with an invoice that you can submit for potential reimbursement or you can use it toward meeting your out of network deductible.

Can I use my FSA/HSA card for consultations and/or supplements?

Yes, our office and dispensaries are set up to accept these as payment. You will need to check with your provider to ensure they allow it as well.

Do you offer any free short meet and greet consultations before booking?

No, however, she does offer for you to abort the Initial consultation up until the 10 minute mark, free of charge, if you and/or Dr. Paquette decide that she is not a good fit for you.

Are there any conditions Dr. Paquette doesn’t treat?

Yes, Cancer, Lyme’s disease, and pediatrics.

I’m ready to begin? How do I get started as a patient?

Click here to book your Initial consultation. You will receive digital correspondence to join our patient portal that will guide you smoothly and easily through the intake process where you can fill out your intake forms, share previous lab tests, etc.

Can you walk me through the basic flow of the process once I am an established patient?

After each consultation she prescribes a personalized treatment plan with testing, prescription, supplemental, and/or lifestyle recommendations for you. We send you an Rx from one (or more) of her online dispensaries to purchase safe professional line products for targeted and effective treatment.

We connect you with a mobile phlebotomist that will draw your blood in your home (or you can go to a lab) and we will drop ship any laboratory test kits to your home or office.

When the results of those laboratory tests arrive you are prompted to book an appointment to review both your symptoms and your lab results with Dr. Paquette.
